About

edxia

edxia is an image analysis framework for EDS/BSE hyperspectral maps. It is available as an API to develop your own tool adapted to your material, or as a plugin to Glueviz to be available to any researcher as a graphical interface.

In particular, edxia allows to manually or automatically segment phases and calculate their composition.

The tool was developed by Fabien Georget and William Wilson in the Laboratory of Construction Materials at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland under the supervision of Karen Scrivener (EPFL).

The tool is still under development/maintenance by Fabien Georget at Université de Sherbrooke, QC, Canada.

Quickstart

To install the sofware please follow these instructions: Install.
